Finally! 🎊😁

After two years of waiting for the opportunity to participate in the Global Case Study Challenge, I attended its culminating event yesterday – the Global Conference. While I joined the GCSC as an Adjunct Lecturer from the American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland (AUS), in my role as a GCSC Educator, I’ve been working with five groups of students from all over the world.

What is GCSC?

The Global Case Study Challenge (GCSC) is a real intercultural and virtual experience that provides participants with invaluable experience for their personal and professional lives. Professors and lecturers from 22 universities around the world with more than 600 students have participated in this experiential learning activity!

Over the course of two and a half months, students work together in Global Virtual Teams and experience all the challenges of remote collaboration. They have to go through all the team development stages and form a high performing team to solve the final task – an analysis of a merger between two international companies.

Yesterday, the students presented their recommendations on how to successfully manage the integration phase and create an inclusive culture.

Listening to their presentations, I was amazed by their creativity in visual design and in providing solutions for the newly formed company.
